No visit would be complete without a trip to the nearby town of Huelgoat. Shrouded in ancient legend, Huelgoat is a fascinating and beautiful area famous for its lake, forest walks and rock formations. There is a busy local market once a week, a good choice of restaurants, and a supermarket providing a wide range of produce ideal for your daily needs. |
Slightly further afield the towns of Morlaix, Quimper, and Brest are highly recommended. Brest in particular offers a true shop-until-you-drop experience, whilst Quimper and Morlaix offer a more serene shopping trip and a glimpse of Brittany gone-by.
| Guillec Vihan is an ideal base for outings to the entire Finistère coastline.
